Finally, a Lensography

I kept hearing about how I probably ought to make a lensography.

It sounded too much like biography, which would not have been as exciting as hatching a fun new lens idea. So I resisted. Another email got me thinking. It’s just a way to organize your lenses and to present them in a nice one-stop list, she said.  So I promised to make one when I reached a whopping 25 lenses.

I lied.  I waited until 30, and then realized, ohmygosh! I’m only 20 lenses away from fifty! Now, those of you who have over a hundred lenses are laughing behind your hands. (You know who you are…) But surely you remember that feeling of will-I-ever-reach-my-first-fifty, don’t you?

So, long story short: I made the lensography. Published it a couple of days ago. If you would like to fall in love with broccoli or spinach, learn about Tom Turkey’s latest woes, discover two of my favorite colors, or treat yourself to a tour of out-of-the-way locales in my Amazing Webventures series, then you’ve gotta run (but not with scissors) to Seedplanter’s Lensography. (*Don’t miss the lens about the day I grabbed a shovel and started digging up my entire backyard. True story. I have the hand surgery scar to prove it.)

Wear clean, hole-less socks, and slip your shoes off by the door. It’s raining, and I don’t want you messin’ up my shiny new floor. Grab a Snickerdoodle there in the kitchen. Coffee’s on, too. I hope you like Pumpkin Spice. Mmmmm.

Isn’t it amazing how those lenses add up? You’re ‘way over the hump now and I definitely see Giant Squid in your future!

You mean 30 is the magic number!?! I see lensography/lensographies are in my near future…why are they so intimidating?

By the way, your post here has made me hungry! I think I better go have lunch before I check out any more of your writings.
