Shortcuts and Updates
When I started dabbling in Squidoo, I didn’t know how much time I’d spend updating. But like any other website, change is important. Otherwise, Google forgets us like a fair-weather friend. I’m thinking of ways to streamline the process, but so far it’s just butt-in-chair and fingers-on-keyboard.
Do any of you lensmasters have shortcuts? Seems like the more practice I get at lenscrafting, the more notes I scribble to myself. I have an ongoing file of tips and watch-out-for-that’s; probably enough to make a lens someday if I give it a unique slant. So…what’s YOUR favorite shortcut?
Been busy all morning taking care of business, and updated the following lenses.
- Amazing Webventures: Let’s Explore Borneo!
- Fun With Boxes: Creative Crafts for Kids (Eat your oatmeal, save the box…)
- Fun With Cans: Creative Crafts for Kids
- Who Eats SPAM? A Webvestigative Report (Take the poll, please!)
- Amazing Webventures: Let’s Explore Andorra!
- Squidoo WHO? Learn from Successful Lensmasters (a virtual hug to all you pioneers in Squidoo…)
- Recipes for Life
- Turkey’s Last Stand
- Turkey’s Manifesto (NEWSFLASH! Turkey’s Turkiatrist: Countdown to Thanksgiving was published today. It’s #3 in Tom’s traumatic tale…)
- Grumble Headquarters: Where Crabapples, Sourpusses, and Grumblers Unite
- Fun With Paper Bags: Creative Crafts for Kids
- Fall in Love With Broccoli (go ahead…I dare you)
- 10 Favorite Books I’d Take to an Island
Gonna grab a bite of lunch and head out to Staples. Printer cartridge died in the middle of a project. Timing is never good when it comes to printers, is it? (Note to self: Re-stock printer supplies!)
Have a good week, everyone!

And as far as short-cuts…nope from me ’sides what you said about constantly updating. Hope to hear from the more seasoned on this one.

There’s never an end to the updating. I like to tweak things as I notice them or add things as they come up otherwise I end up with a huge to-do list that seems unmanageable.
